Santos G. Rodriguez, 76, died in Rochester, Minn., on Nov. 18, 2015, at 9:28 p.m.  She was born Nov. 1, 1939, in Reynosa, Mexico, the daughter of Higinio Gonzalez and Maria De Los Angeles Flores.She attended school through the third grade. Santos was married to Alex V. Rodriguez on Sept. 6, 1956. They celebrated 59 years of marriage. Alex and Santos resided in Lovell for 70 years and raised eight children.[caption id="attachment_10629" align="alignright" width="189"] Santos G. Rodriguez[/caption]Santos worked at the Big Horn Restaurant, the sugar factory, Big Horn Cannery and as a migrant worker and a cook.Her hobbies included painting, singing, gambling, playing bingo, taking care of her flowers and, most of all, her family.She is survived by her husband, Alex V. Rodriguez Sr., of Lovell; sons Alexander G. Rodriguez Jr., David G. Rodriguez and Brian G. Rodriguez, all of Lovell; and daughters Rosemary Guerrero of Ephrata, Wash., Elizabeth Ventura of Lovell, Angelita R. Boutwell of Twin Falls, Idaho, Amanda Devyak of Soap Lake, Wash., and Dora Rodriguez of Lovell.Santos was preceded in death by her parents, brother Julio Gonzalez, sister Lupe Montanez and grandson Jose Aguilar.Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass was held on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lovell. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.haskellfuneralhome.com.
