Sharon Marie Hall

June 5, 1967 – Sept. 9, 2026

Sharon Marie Hall (née Myers) greeted her Savior in the early morning of September 9, 2026, with her daughters at her side for her final journey from this earth.

Sharon was born June 5, 1967, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, to Delores (Dirks) and Lewis Myers, the youngest of four siblings. She grew up in Arvada in a loving Christian home, where her father’s ministry helped deepen her faith, which remained central throughout her life.

She treasured summers spent with family on the dairy farm and developed a lifelong love of playing the piano, especially jazz and ragtime. She even learned to play upside down for show.

Sharon graduated from Arvada High School in 1985 and later attended Nebraska Christian College.

While living with her brother Bryan in Onawa, Iowa, Sharon worked in emergency admissions and helped with his ministry. One day, while hurrying to change her laundry at the laundromat, she was pulled over by none other than her future husband, Scott Hall.

Sharon and Scott married in December 1992, and Sharon gained a daughter, Laura. They later made their home in Wyoming, where their family grew with their daughters Nicole and Natalie.

After settling in Lovell, Sharon became deeply involved with Lovell Bible Church and other church communities, frequently sharing her gift for piano during services. She also enjoyed directing and being involved with the community plays, directing “A Christmas Carol” and “It’s A Wonderful Life.”

One of Sharon’s callings was her work in hospital admissions in both Onawa and Lovell. She considered it part of her mission to be a familiar and comforting presence to those who entered the hospital, whether they were frightened, hurting or simply coming in to work.

Sharon was diagnosed with stage IV cancer in September 2024. She faced her illness with determination and courage. Through it all, she remained a source of joy and light to those around her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Myers; grandparents Velma Pearl Harris, Julia Dirks, Leonard Myers and Herman Dirks; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her mother, Delores Myers of Arvada, Colorado; husband Scott Hall of Lovell; daughters Laura (Ryan) Ernst of Schleswig, Iowa, and Nicole and Natalie Hall of Lovell; granddaughters Haley and Whitney Ernst; sister Susan (Robert) Huston of Longmont, Colorado; brother Bryan (Diane) Myers of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister Carolyn (Jim) Campaney of Arvada; mother-in-law Margaret Hall of Onawa; and many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be held Friday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. at the Lovell Bible Church.
