Sharron DeRocher

Sharron De Rocher died of cancer on Feb. 29, 2016. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on March 7, 1940. She married Robert[caption id="attachment_11014" align="alignright" width="212"] Sharron DeRocher[/caption]on April 1, 1960, and was his life-partner and best friend for 56 years.She was amazingly strong and courageous, yet loving, generous, kind and caring throughout her life. Sharron was very adventurous and traveled extensively within North America and overseas to Europe, the British Isles and the Caribbean.She is survived by her husband, Robert, sons Ted and Adam, daughters-in-law Susie and Cyd; and grandchildren Aaron, Abby, Alex, Caitlin and Chloe. She found room in her life for Jim, another young man who survives her, whom she took into her home and heart.Sharron was an exemplary mother, wife and homemaker. She will be missed dearly and will remain forever in her family’s hearts and minds.
