Sheriff’s report: Frannie man not pressing charges on own dog

The Big Horn County Sheriff’s Department received the following calls for the week of November 13 to November 19:
November 16: 3:03 p.m.- Vandalism was reported at Byron Town Park. Juveniles were reported to have vandalized a picnic table.
November 17:  5:08 p.m.- A car was reported for distracted driving on Hwy. 14. The driver was unable to maintain lane of travel and was driving at different rates of speed. The car was a dark dodge pickup, and a dog was in the back.
November 18: 1:30 p.m. - An 18-year-old juvenile was arrested for felony animal cruelty, felony property destruction and a drug related misdemeanor.
November 19: 07:38 a.m.- The hospital reported a dog bite that occurred on 5th St. in Frannie. The man was bit by his own dog, and no charges were filed.
Note: The calls listed above were received by the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Department. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
