USA Wrestling for 3/14/13USA wrestlers find success by placing 10 in ThermopolisBy Sam SmithThe North Big Horn Wrestlers traveled to the Thermopolis meet Saturday where they placed 10 in the tournament. “The kids did extremely well. We want to give a special thanks to all the additional coaching help that we had this tournament by some of our dads,” North Big Horn wrestling coach James Habeck said. “Other clubs from around the state, such as Buffalo and Riverton, came to this meet, giving the kids some tough competition.”Angie Spann reported the following results from Saturday’s meet:Rocky freshman Shay Bond placed first at 132 pounds, and fellow freshman Spur Hackney also placed first at 105 pounds, both in the cadet division. Lovell seventh-grader Dawson Wood placed second at 190 pounds in the school boy division while Asher Nicholson placed second at 70 pounds in the novice division. Danika Crumine placed second at 50 pounds in the peewee division.Coy Trainor placed third at 130 pounds in the novice division, and Landon Marchant placed fourth at 80 pounds in the intermediate division. William Spann placed fourth at 60 pounds in the bantam division, and Weston Crumine placed fourth at 65 pounds in the bantam division. Zayden Stahl placed fourth at 40 pounds in the peewee division.The North Big Horn Wrestlers will continue their season this Saturday in Cody.
