Young grapplers enjoy Little Grizz Wrestling Camp in December

The Rocky Mountain High School wrestling program hosted a Little Grizz Wrestling Camp December 19-21 for grades K-5 at RMMHS, coach Eddie Whiting said.
“We finally got back to doing the Little Grizz Wrestling Camp,” Whiting said. “It was a short and fast one. We were only able to do a three-day camp. I believe we had a successful start back out with 23 kids that came. I am hoping next year we can make it a full week-long camp.”
Whiting said high school wrestlers helped with the coaching “to get the full experience,” and he said it was fun to see the player/coaches say, “Coach, I am sorry for the grief we give you.”
He said the camp concluded with a mini tournament “just for fun” and to show families what the young wrestlers learned.
Whiting said he would like to thank MTI and Wild Edge for the camp shirts.
