Free course offered for first responders and families
Downrange Warriors will be offering a free 12-week Reboot Recovery course for first responders and their family members designed to help process and manage stress from critical incidents they experience while on duty.
“This course is for all first responders, including Search and Rescue,” said Josh Foster, representative of Downrange Warriors. “We ask that spouses or a support person accompany the first responder.”
There will be a meet and greet on August 19 at 6 p.m. at the Lovell Community Center to kick off the meetings. The remaining meetings will be held every Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the Big Horn County Annex at 355 East Fifth Street.
Dinner and childcare will be provided at no cost to those that attend.
“For those that may have conflicts, we can accommodate through Zoom or private make-up classes,” Foster said. “We want this to be accessible to any and all first responders.”
