What's your love story? Bill and Mindy Sheckler

It was Halloween night 1979. Bill came trick or treating at my house in Riverton with a mutual friend, who had a crush on my roommate.

We started dating the next week. We found we had many similar interests – family, church, skiing and sports.

At Christmas Bill “popped the question.” Nothing fancy, just our style. We were married July 1, 1980. The next year our first of three children was born.

We have been married 45 years. We retired and moved to Lovell. We spend our time traveling and visiting our kids and nine grandkids and, of course, cheering on the Bulldogs.

P.S. Our friends never did date.
